Came here and the pancakes were a bit bland. My partner got the gluten free ones which tasted quite bad but I suppose that's the best you can get with gluten free. Service was a bit slow as well despite a pretty empty store

Just 5 mins walk from the Monash Campus, the Mr. Sister Cafe is a laid back place and has a dog-friendly setting. We reached around 11:45 and it was almost empty since the brunch time was about to be over. There was a lot of space to sit, even had high chair seating as well. We decided to sit in the dining area at the back. The staff were very welcoming and always had a smiling face for my camera. We ordered the Smashed Avacado, Potato Rosti, and Zucchini Fritters from the all-day breakfast menu. The quantity was very much enough to fill our hunger pangs. The Smashed Avacado is a vegetarian option right out of the menu and you can add bacon for $4. It also comes in a gluten-free option. There was two medium size toast with smashed avo on top of it. I loved the combination of beetroot hummus. The Potato Rosti, all three of us liked this the most. The pulled beef was yum and the best part was the caramelized apple butter. I find this puree as something so delicious and it went well with all our dishes. I would not be hesitant to ask for more. The Potato Rosti, without a doubt, is a must try in Mr. Sister Cafe. I ordered the Zucchini Fritters and it was fried to perfection. Pistachio and mint pesto was good. I am not a big fan of peas. The lemon labneh, wish it was sweet since I love things being sour and sweet. We were almost about to finish the brunch and out of nowhere bees began to fly near to our food. I guess they also liked the food and its aroma. Fun aside, it was the only bad experience and we even had to change our seating to get rid of the bee attack. The staff obviously couldn't do anything because there were other guests and spraying chemicals will be a bad idea. Overall, it was a good experience and we would love to visit. I wish the smoothies were less expensive and the menu had more non-vegetarian options. The staff was very courteous and kind. Keep up the good work guys.

Really lovely location and venue, wonderful and kind staff. I could suggest when customers are seated it would be great if staff check for orders sooner as we had to wait 15/20 mins before being served at first. Food is well priced and delicious. Menu has lots of allergen options such as nut and gluten free as well as vegetarian/vegan options! Excellent to see! Atmosphere of cafe is very calming and lots of natural light! Would recommend!

I’ve become a bit of a regular here each Friday for brunch/lunch over the past couple of months. Located in the luxury section of Chadstone firstly I need to point out that AU79 is gorgeous. It’s really beautifully designed. The staff in my experience, have always been very friendly and very attentive. I have noticed that they are always keeping an eye on the tables and clearing plates, as well as setting up for new customers. Despite being very busy, there is also a high volume of staff so you’ll never left waiting for someone to come take your order. It’s done very promptly. The food is consistent and really tasty. I’ve tried a few things now, and my personal favourites are the calamari salad and the smashed avocado on toast (sounds simple but so good). I haven’t had any issues with my meals and I have had a few there now. The dishes themselves are presented beautifully and they are very picture worthy. There’s a great selection of coffees, fresh juices and wines. There is no kids menu, so don’t expect nuggets and chips (there are fries though) The prices are average, and fairly consistent with the prices throughout the shopping centre($20-$30 per main) There are plenty of gluten-free options and alternatives also. All in all a beautiful place to have a meal I’ll be back next week
