Amazing food and staff were friendly & knowledgeable about celiac/gluten free precautions needed. I was told the owners have celiac which made me feel extra safe eating here.
Highly recommend the bbq shrimp and espresso martini (one of the best I've had!)
Had brunch here with 2 of my teens we ordered:
1. Junkin with gluten free toast (gluten free options)
2. Classic breakfast with bacon and a biscuit
3. Breakfast sandwich.
Pros:
Service was fast and friendly. Place was clean and inviting.
Cons:
They only have oat milk and cow milk no other milk alternatives. Not the end of the world but worth knowing if you want a fancy coffee with breakfast.
Food: The food was a 4.5/5 the sandwich was a hit and the classic breakfast was good with the exception that the potatoes were bland with no seasoning and not very crispy. The Junkin was good except 50% of the veggies were turnips. Which are not my favorite so picked most of them out. The gluten free toast was delicious! (Note I've had the junkin before when it was more balanced with more of a variety to the veggies so this might be hit or miss)
Over all a good visit
Side note there is no parking lot or designated space for parking so you have to find a spot on a residential street which can be tricky.
Wow. Wow wow. Amazing service.
Food is on point.
Price is about the same as you would get anywhere else. Really well done.
We got burgers. Gluten free options available. Great place to end up for dinner. Or lunch.
Sloooow service on Sunday brunch. I think they're short staffed. Food was just fine but there's better all around. I appreciated there are several gluten free options. Nice vibes if the weather is good.
Super cool place! Looks small from the outside but has a generous amount of seating inside. Service was quick and everyone was friendly. Unique menu with great gluten free options. Would definitely stop in here again!
Jeff took care of our large party. That guy don't mess around. He knew the menu amd the beer list very well making ordering very easy. They have gluten free options and they have adult food too.
My wife has celiacs. This is one of a few GF options in town. They take good care to keep everything seperated from glutened items. Thank you so much! Though under staffed still decent service.
Great food, great service. Noi Thai is on my "must do" list whenever I am in Bend. I am celiac and there are enough GF choices to make it hard for me to decide what to pick. Then the waiter there were more things on the menu that could be made GF...
We made reservations a week ahead for Mother’s Day. We were traveling from Idaho and ended a seven hour drive with dinner at the grill in Bend. We were a few minutes early and checked in- Two adults, six kids including a baby in high chair.
We were waiting quite a while, especially with a reservation. The deck seemed very inviting but were told it was booked even though not full. Indoors, the restaurant was very loud so we waited outside about 25 minutes. We were seated indoors after reminding the hostess that we were still waiting. She could see us from her desk but I felt forgotten.
The food was excellent with gluten free calamari as the star. I had a wedge salad, no dairy, add shrimp. It came covered in blue cheese dressing so I had to send it back. It came quickly back but the shrimp were cold. The waitress did bring me some more shrimp without being asked.
My daughter had prime rib and it was just okay. A bit fatty and tough. Her sides were good. The kids had the little bento boxes which were very creative and fun, giving several choices. They are every bite.
We seemed to wait forever for water and were never asked about a drink refill. I know they were busy but staffing seemed scant.
Amazing sandwiches just behind the main downtown street, and overlooking the river. Highly recommended to take just half a sandwich as they are huge. Instead use the rest of your sandwich money on a pint of beer from one of the many great breweries on tap. And don't forget the weekly pint specials are very inexpensive. Have (huge) salads too for the gluten free person in your party.
Gluten free/ vegan friendly!!
Had a nice dinner out with a friend. We made a reservation 5 days ahead to make sure we could get a table
Their menu was very very GF friendly. They are have a fun cocktail list but it was much smaller than we thought it would be considering we heard they were the go to place for cocktails.
*Dishes we tried were delicious!
*Service was ok.... not great really slow and they seemed a bit understaffed. The people were nice just very very slow.
*Bathroom situation was a bit odd... you have to leave the restaurant go into the hotel and then down an elevator to another floor and around a corner to the bathroom. If your dinning with children it's a trick.
Overall would definitely go back again.
Really enjoyable! Great service, great food, great atmosphere. I got the white wine flight and yellowfin and couldn't have enjoyed it more. Great cook, seasoning and sides with the tuna..
My wife got the Risotto and, honestly, it tasted more like creamed corn than Italian risotto. Still tasted great, but by no means was it traditional.
Our group of 8 had a vegetarian, vegan, and several gluten free folks. Everyone left happy! They even had a separate gluten free menu, which we loved.
The only other note was that the room gets really loud and impossible to conversation at a table for 8. I think this atmosphere would make 900 perfect for a date, however.
We were passing through Bend looking for a dog friendly spot! What a find! The food was good, the portions great and price reasonable. We had the chicken caesar salad, burgers and the kids had the kids meal, chicken strips and fries. We have one gluten-free vegetarian diner who was accommodated and enjoyed their meal too.
