Not just vegan food, but great gluten free options with/without meat and dairy. Dinner was good, but I was *obsessed* with the GF peanut butter ice cream sandwich, hoping it's not just a seasonal special so I can experience that level of joy again. The cocktails were also great, the fresh pressed juice took everything up a notch. And I can't forget to mention that the servers were really kind and made our dinner such a bright experience, thank you!

We recently had the pleasure of having our baby shower in the greenhouse. Verde has long been my wife and I favorite restaurant so no brainer to have this event there. The owner Andy and his staff made sure this day was perfect for us. They went above and beyond with all accommodations including providing many gluten free and vegan options for our guests. The staff was wonderful and really hustled all day long to take care of everyone. There is no better option for venue, food, drinks and staff. Couldn’t recommend a place anymore than I do this one!

We got married at the Bayview House on 10/8/23, and it was an absolutely beautiful event! Annie, our Maitre'D, made sure that the entire evening ran smoothly. She was a pleasure to work with! ♥ I got up to get my own food at one point, and she was quick to sit me back down and bring my husband and I everything that we wanted from the buffet! The food at Captain Bill's is excellent, and they worked with us to ensure that we had both vegan & gluten-free options for our guests with dietary restrictions. The Bayview House is so, so beautiful -- even more so in person! We did many of our own decorations, and genuinely had fun planning out decorations for the ballroom -- especially the fireplace! While Long Island weddings are undeniably expensive, we were able to work with Captain Bill's to ensure that we stayed within our tight budget, while still hitting on all of the major things that we felt were essential to our wedding day. I would highly recommend the Bayview House to anyone looking for a beautiful, reasonably priced wedding venue with fantastic food!
