My server, Juliane, was so attentive and gave us such amazing service. As someone who has a gluten allergy, she paid extra attention to how my food was prepared. She truly deserves a raise!
I had no idea this restaurant existed in Carlsbad and it was really great. It has a small Historical Museum focused on Boston that was fun to walk through. The best for me was they had gluten-free items on their menu,
I had Shepherd's Pie which is normally off limits for me because of the gravy but theirs is gluten free and delicious.
We came for Christmas Eve dinner which was a prefix menu. There were several choices per course with gluten free and vegetarian options. The food, drinks, and service were excellent. It's a hotel restaurant that is off the lobby so the ambiance doesn't quite match the quality of everything else but it didn't detract from our experience.
Safe for celiacs. The staff is very well trained and even asks when you order if it’s for gf diet or celiacs. Ate two nights there on my trip because the food was so fantastic. Very reasonable prices. Full portions. And bottomless chips, salsa and quest. Excellent service. All of the workers were hustling! So good to see them busy in these post covid times. Thank you!
We love BOGO burger Tuesdays for lunch. It's a great deal for two people. The burgers are always hot and tasty and my wife says their gluten free bun is the best...and she has tried many. They are willing to accommodate my frequent request to get a side salad instead of fries...when I am being "good". The vinaigrette dressing is surprisingly tasty. The lunch atmosphere is reasonably quiet so we can easily converse. Sports are typically playing on the TVs so you can catch some action if interested, but it's not obtrusive.
I went to lunch with a group of 9 co-workers. I was considering missing it completely because the lunch menu didn't have anything vegan & gluten free however I looked at the dinner menu and I saw that they offer a vegan ravioli with gluten free pasta. When we arrived I asked the waiter if I could order from the dinner menu, he checked with the kitchen and I was happy to hear that I could. My dish was delicious and light. Great, simple flavors. The gluten free pasta was not "chewy" and the vegan cheese center was very tasty, not over the top "vegan cheesy" (if you know what I mean.) I would definitely go back since there is something I can order and enjoy. The service was also good.
Done the Yard House three times as a family get together, dealing with vegans, soy intolerants, gluten-frees, low carbs, you name it.
They have an expansive enough food (and alcohol) menu to satisfy just about anybody.
The low carb guy gets the jambalaya but has them put it on a bed of spinach instead of on noodles or rice; they do substitutions within reason. The fussy drinker got something where they happily substituted mescal for whatever the primary liquor was.
The soy intolerant gets the ahi sandwich with a gluten-free bun and the sauce on the side.
I don't care what the vegan gets, haha.

What a find this place is! The cocktail program is spectacular, extremely unique and well balanced original cocktails coupled with excellent classics.
Food is also really tasty and unique with thai inspired dishes.
As if Same Same wasn't great enough, they have gluten free dishes and clearly someone is aware of cross contamination in that kitchen, because I have celiac and woke up feeling great which is kind of rare. So BRAVO Same Same. Your staff was amazingly knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining as well. The decor is also awesome.
My husband and I cannot wait to come back and try the whole menu.
It’s pretty good food served by fantastic staff in nice enough decor. I have celiacs, which they’re—surprisingly for a mexican place—extremely ill equipped to handle, but the server was quite knowledgeable about how each item was prepared, and ultimately the chef was willing l to whip something up for me. Plating was also quite attractive. The only downside was price. It was maybe $30-35 a person for food that I would be eager to pay maybe $20 a person for.
