Walked into Bowness to eat, due to the advertisement of gluten free food. Once we went to order they told us that no gluten free food was available due to only one chef being available. If you advertise you have gluten free food, please ensure that there is at least always one gluten free option.

They have a separate fryer for gluten free food so it's coeliac safe. Staff were great and it's fairly priced. GF fish and chips were one of the best we've had!

Best meal I have had in my first 10 days in the UK. The food was excellent, the prices were very reasonable, the atmosphere was cozy and relaxed, and the service was great. Lots of gluten-free options. Delicious!

We had an excellent lunch here. The lamb and Cumberland sausage dishes were well cooked with fresh vegetables and were very flavoursome. There are lots of gluten free options on the menu. There was a great atmosphere and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend eating here.
