This place is the best, and safe for Coeliac customers. The owner has a coeliac in the family, so the menu has a huge range of gluten free foods, and all deserts are gluten free. The service was incredible and the food is amazing! My fav place when I visit Tassie, knowing I’m in safe hands ❤️
The staff are really friendly and personable. Service is amazing, and the food is great! My partner is celiac, which they are great with as most of their food is gluten free!
I went here for lunch after seeing a fellow coeliac reccomend Saint John's to me and I had an amazing experience! Honestly such fantastic food - awesome coeliac safe fried chicken burgers with the best burger bun and chips I've had in a long time! And the deep fried Halloumi was unreal 😍
Fantastic service and food, our server's recommendations resulted in one of the best dinner experiences we had in Launceston. The care when accommodating coeliac/gluten allergies makes this place a must-visit.

This place has an extensive menu with multiple options including Mexican (all gluten free) pizza & Korean. It’s all outdoors & undercover with heating provided for the chilly evenings. The food was brought out quickly & was reasonably priced.
I loved the atmosphere & the decor. The food was delicious.
Ordered Uber eats from here and the food was amazing, cooked quickly and delivered to our Airbnb all intact. Partner is coeliac and loved the wings. Will definitely come back next time 🙌🏼
A lovely Dinner experience in Salamanca! Delicious Italian meal with the option of gluten free pizza, pasta and risottos. Lots of options for entrée as well, Amazing cocktails, friendly staff.
We were told they were booked out on a Monday night, but that as a pair we might get a walk in. We did and were not disappointed. Has delicious food with my dumb dietary (Coeliac and allium intolerant). Had clear options including a tasty gf beer (yay!). All food looked and tasted great. Cool Aussie 90s tunes for laid back atmosphere. Very happy. Thank you
Great place for a beer or a paddle of beer. Food very good and hot when delivered. We had about six small plates between 4 of us, which was plenty. celiac dishes available.
Beautiful little cafe on the water. Staff are always amazing, the food in 4 visits has always been perfect.
Gluten free options are no problem and coffee is delicious.
Highly recommended.
Food was pretty good, and service was ok. For a place with not many places to eat at, this one is definitely one to try.
However, online they had this HUGE Gluten Free menu, and then once we got there they only had about two options which was very disappointing. Probably time to update that.
Great food with loads of Gluten free options. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Coeliac friendly as they use a separate fryer.
Will definitely be back 🤩🤩🤩
Was planning to have Thai at the place next door, but it was closed...Star Hotel was warm (wood fire), shared a comfy & cosy booth with hubby. Generous serves for dinner. Could have had the Mushroom Bruschetta as my main instead of side dish... Atlantic Salmon cooked perfectly. Hubby very happy with Gluten Free options. Big thumbs up.
Great spot, good vibes, highly glutenous.
A fantastic place for a drink, but if you’re coeliac you better be happy to eat salad. The almost complete lack of gf menu items is disappointing in this day and age!
Hidden gem! Such a fantastic restaurant - absolutely delicious food perfectly prepared and paired with the perfect wine.
Great for a coeliac too! Very knowledgeable about cross-contamination, and most of the menu is gluten free anyway (although some GFs on the menu would be helpful).
The only reason the atmosphere wasn’t perfect was because there was barely anyone in there, which surely won’t be the case for long because it was SO GOOD! The decor is lovely too, very well done.
Nestled within the walls of a charming old chapel, this delightful coffee shop offers a truly unique experience. From the moment you step inside, you’re transported into a serene and welcoming space that feels almost sacred, as if dining in a cozy, modern sanctuary. The high ceilings and stained-glass accents add an air of quiet reverence, perfectly complementing the warmth of the friendly staff who greet you with genuine smiles.
The attention to detail here is outstanding, from the artfully brewed coffee to the thoughtfully crafted menu. Every dish is a celebration of fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the portions are generous enough to leave you feeling completely satisfied. pistachio and rosewater muffins are a must-try for anyone with a sweet tooth—they’re like a little piece of heaven.
What makes this place even more special is its inclusivity. Whether you're vegan, gluten-free, or just a lover of good food, there’s something for everyone. The staff’s dedication to accommodating different dietary needs is a testament to their commitment to making everyone feel at home.
Visiting this cafe is more than just a meal—it’s an experience. The ambiance, with its chapel-like charm, is both calming and inspiring. It’s the perfect spot for a peaceful breakfast, a catch-up with friends, or simply a moment of quiet reflection over a great cup of coffee.
I can’t recommend this hidden gem enough. It exceeded all my expectations, and I’m already looking forward to returning. If you’re looking for a dining experience that’s as warm and comforting as it is delicious, this cafe is a must-visit.

Best eggplant Al Forno in Tasmania! My wife and I had the gluten free option and we ordered seconds. Garlic pizza, rocket salad, beer, wine, affogato and Tiramisu were amazing, too. Fine class dining at affordable prices in Queenstown, Tasmania.
Great food, great beer and a great atmosphere. The food bible they have for allergies is an awesome idea. My mum hadn’t had a gf Parmi is 15 years since she became celiac and she loved it. Would highly recommend
My all time favourite place to eat in Launceston. Great service, great coffee and great food - everything is always so beautifully plated and so delicious, and I love that so much of the menu is gluten free.
The food was amazing, the staff were great and the Chef was very helpful and very knowledgeable. I was very disappointed that the range of gluten free food was very limited but after speaking with the Chef, he made me the most amazing meal. The portion sizes were big, the prices were good and the food was awesome. Highly recommended

Let me tell you…..
Tonight we wanted pizza and Sangria!!! And we found the best place to overcome our hunger and wishes, the gluten free Calabresse pizza was absolutely delicious, the sangrias were nice and fresh perfect accompaniment, and the service of high standards, we enjoyed our night out in Hobart. Tasmania has the best gluten free food!!! Thank you all!!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, which we chose for peace and quiet and proximity to nature and national parks. Perfect on both counts. You do need to go prepared, with food and everything else you need as there are no shops open on the weekend anywhere nearby. The bed was really comfy, window views of nature were stunning, and we enjoyed the spa bath and heating available in the rooms. Kitchen and fridge were used daily. No plug in the kitchen sink was a small inconvenience. We ate at the on-site restaurant on Sunday night. Service was excellent but meals were small and pricey. Gluten-free and vegan options were limited (no dessert options for me). Our main complaint was the lack of healthy carbs with meals. Potato chips were the only option. Coconut rice would have been appreciated with the fish of the day meal. Many guests have been very active, walking trails in the day and 2 tiny pieces of fish, for $45, were not filling enough.

Had dinner there an all I can say is the food was amazing. Staff very friendly and happy to accommodate my dietary requirements. Lots of gluten free options. I would suggest booking if possible as can be very busy. Defently will be going back next time I'm in Tassie.
A big let-down! Especially considering the prices charged. Even the basics, nuggets & chips were so overcooked to being almost inedible. To anyone wondering, the 'steak' actually comes as a couple of random chunks, half of ours was like leather. The seafood was surely frozen and tasted wierd. I think it comes with salad bar(?), not that we were informed of it. Clincher was that we ordered 1 burger with gluten-free bun, but they had run out of buns, so the 'burger' was served without it, yet we were still charged a gluten-free surcharge! And the salad on this 'burger' was old and soggy. Waitresses at least provided good service (although we were also served wrong drinks, but they were nice about fixing it). Building is also nice. Shame they were let down by everything else. I would have rated 2 stars overall, but the food was just that bad. Birthday dinner ruined. We do NOT recommend coming here unless you feel like paying a premium for nothing.
The place was a little hard to find (more signage would help), but the souvlaki was delicious and the service was very polite and friendly. My wife had the gluten free option and wasn't disappointed!
Tullah Lakeside Lodge is absolutely 💯 a winner . The location is spectacular and the service warm and friendly. The standard of cleanliness is 10/ 10 and our room was neat and tidy and beautifully kept by the house keeping staff . New and modern appliances gleaming bathroom. The view from our room and our little deck was just lovely . All kinds of people were staying here ,walkers ,visitors, workers en route making for a comfortable atmosphere during meal times in the bar and restaurant. Two huge log fires made everything feel relaxing. The staff in the kitchen and bar are lovely and accommodating making me gluten free options at meal times. We will return and wish we were staying longer. Final thought, this magical place is so close to so many beautiful sights and is perfect for anyone wishing to see Cradle it's 40 mins away. Thankyou to everyone for your hospitality and a shout out to the young man barrowing the logs for the fires. Mand and Lutz

We stumbled upon this pub at the right time, Sunday lunch. How happy we were when they said gluten free food was available, Steak, chips and salad, perfect and delicious. Great atmosphere with heating out the back area.
