first of all, let me say, I can’t believe this doesn’t have a stellar 5.0 rating. I’ve driven past this place often on from joshua tree to San Diego when I can’t stand being on the freeway anymore. I finally stopped in today. I was greeted with absolute professionalism and lovely, charming woman. I was overwhelmed with how amazing their selection was. I ended up getting the 2 x 2 inch cakes. A little tiny cake, several different kinds, including the gluten-free. I also grabbed two of the tiramisu cakes. I am now headed back to joshua tree. With a pitstop to eat two of the little small individual cakes. and one of the tiramisu cakes. This is some of the best cake I’ve ever eaten and I bought enough different flavors today from them to say that I will be back again and again. thank you so much for your help and fabulous cakes. Hands down this was a serious game changer for the whole family! I strongly recommend that you PLAN AHEAD for next year and keep it simple with Polly's Pies Thanksgiving options. Price is very reasonable and the work you DON'T have to do you get to spend that time with family! Some of my family is gluten intolerant and they kindly informed what had gluten and what certainly did not. Very very greatful and what I will be doing indefinitely for all my next Thanksgiving meals!

I haven't been a fan of Walmart in the past, but this location has friendlier staff, is mainly groceries and is far less overwhelming and chaotic than the regular or super locations. They have a nice gluten-free section, although we've sometimes needed to be careful of the expiration dates. They offer the self-checkout, making it easier to get in & out. An update for the COVID-19 pandemic: they have cart wipes and hand-free sanitizer dispensers readily available and masks are required. 👍😷
