My boyfriend special ordered me a cake for my birthday. A friend had recommended Helm as she knows I typically prefer gluten-free baked goods; standard flours don’t sit well with me. All I said was “I like vanilla,” and he took care of the rest. He picked it up (along with some other amazing goodies, including the peanut butter sandwiches), and I was incredibly impressed. Not only was it absolutely adorable with the perfect pink icing, but it was dense (just how I like it) and moist and incredibly delicious. My boyfriend even said he thought it was the best cake he’s ever had. I will definitely be telling my family and friends to get any and all of my celebratory cakes and baked goods from here in future!

A proper gluten-free establishment, where everything he sells, tastes great and is fairly priced. I especially like the sandwich bread and cookies as it reminds me of my mom's baking. Nothing frustrates me more than those "trendy" gluten-free places that clearly don't understand the needs of people who have legitimate medical conditions. Not this place! If you come here you will not be disappointed.
