We came at a very busy time, but they gave us an accurate time of an availability and they fit us it. After being seated, my 4 year old promptly spilled his apple juice. Scott immediately appeared with a towel and a cheerful “No worries” to set us at ease. The presentation and flavours of our brekkies were spot on; oats bowl, banana and salted caramel pancakes and avocado on toast were delicious and satisfying too. They catered to gluten free and vegan for two of our party without comment or drama. Ashmore on Bridge St is one of the great cafes in Tasmania and Richmond is a better destination because of it! Fantastic. Great people and beautiful meals you will find it hard to get better anywhere. The Chef even made a beautiful gluten free mushroom gravy. Will continue to come back and back. Cheers Richmond Hotel.

Excellent service at this cafe. The mornay scallop was so tasty as was the chicken kebab . The staff were extra helpful to provide gluten free options. Decor is 1950s in an 1850s world but enjoy the service and food 👍
