Food was good, clean, fresh and healthy. As a coeliac they have lots of options and coffee was good. The Gold Coast is challenging to find good reasonable priced food and this was a winner

Most amazing Thai we have had since being in Thailand! It was so hard to choose a favourite dish and our kids loved everything as well! Well priced food and wine with great service. Highly recommend, we will be back soon. Pad Thai excellent, massuman curry delicious, satay chicken skewers were sensational, as was the chicken cashew nut stir fry. Our daughter wanted tononow how the rice tasted so good and our son demolished most of the fried rice, along with the other items. Staff happily dealt with our gluten free requirements as well.

We attended for a work dinner as a group of 8 on a Thursday night (31/10/24). The atmosphere was lovely overlooking the marina & the service was good. We had pre-arranged for a 3 course set menu, as per booking request for advanced notice & all staff reported they enjoyed their meals (not "wowed" by them, but satisfied). I am a gluten-free, dairy-free pescatarian who cannot tolerate garlic or onion & was well catered for without fuss (I had let them know of my dietary restrictions at time of booking). I thoroughly enjoyed my delicious kingfish entree & barramundi main, both cooked to perfection. My mango & passionfruit tapioca pudding with passionfruit sorbet (GF) dessert was nice but not quite sweet enough for my liking. Was happy there were a few mocktail options to choose from. The watermelon highball mocktail was great (& without soda, thankfully) but would not bother ordering the Amaretti sour again unless you love pursing your lips. Other staff all seemed to enjoy the many drinks they ordered also. On the downside, the restrooms could really use a spruce-up. Looking a little tired & shabby compared to the luxe vibe the restaurant is trying to achieve, as was commented on by a few members of our group. All in all, a nice experience. Thank you.

My partner and I dined at this restaurant last weekend and experienced incredibly poor service, I then sent this email and have not heard anything for a week. The email is as follows: “To who ever this concerns. My partner booked us in to your establishment for an early dinner on Friday just gone. I’ve been there on more than a few occasions over many years so there was no doubt needed from me of the lovely food you offer. So we were waited on by an older gentleman whom I courteously explained to at the get go, that I was unfortunately coeliac nowadays and could I get a Bloody Mary excluding gluten. ie Worcestershire sauce. Your waiter was not only dismissive of me he went on to only engage with my beautiful partner. Then not moments after I received my tomato juice vodka and 3 olives, and a cocktail for Emma which she enjoyed. He asked what we were having for dinner. Now I know your menu is flexible but also modest in its size! So again I reiterated my allergy and asked for his suggestion for my options. To which he hilariously added that every question would cost me $10. Again not engaging with me or even looking at me. So after 2 questions to him I said abruptly that I need to be careful with my order. He pat me condescendingly on the shoulder and said to relax a bit and you might end up enjoying yourself. It was then that I decided I’d had enough rudeness and pathetic service from this person, that we asked for our drinks bill. He very promptly grabbed the eftpos machine I suspect hoping not to be noticed by his piers for his fopar. One bit of good news came out of this debacle was that we were greeted with open arms next door at La Luna where we experienced real Gold Coast hospitality without even a booking. I hope this email is received in good faith and you realise that I have been respectful in not going to public scrutiny over this. But if it’s not I assure you that I will never have a favourable word about your restaurant again. I do know how hard it is to get good staff but believe me you don’t want that fool representing your company for another day. Disappointingly Peter”
