Great customer service and food! We came for the gluten free tiramisu and were not disappointed 😋
The chicken tacos were lovely, especially when paired with their hot sauce
Great spot to hangout with friends and grab a drink/bite to eat! Everything’s vegan which made my soul happy and the gluten free options hit the spot. I will return if I’m ever in Brisbane again.
Came to Bird's Nest to catch up with friends. The atmosphere is incredible, very warm and inviting. Food and drinks were amazing, such good flavours! Normally only two skewers per serving but were kind enough to add an extra so every member of our three person party could have one. The servers were awesome, very attentive - regularly checking on water and filling glasses and taking empty plates. Excellent gluten free accomodation and understanding. Will definitely be coming back, 100%.
I’ve come here a few times and always get the banquet which never disappoints! Very good value for money and every dish is delicious, they are also very accommodating to dietary needs for example I am gluten free and my friend has a shellfish allergy. The duck was a standout and the crispy tofu is amazing and almost buttery inside. Local drink selections were a standout too!
Wonderful experience and everything ordered was gluten free and absolutely delicious. Staff very accommodating about food allergies. So nice to eat at a lovely restaurant and have so much choice regarding gluten free options.
Great spot in James Street, luckily we were a walk in early on Sunday Morning.
Spaghetti Alla Marinara Gluten free Rigatoni one of the best we have tried.
The Carbonara was also excellent. (Perhaps a bit more bacon would have been perfect)
Lovely welcome and service, decent wines
Had the red Nativ 'Rosso Velluto' and the Villa Aix Rose, both perfect with the dishes.
Finished off with a Affogato with Liqueur which was of charts

I recently hosted a birthday lunch at Maya Mexican Restaurant for a group of 20, and I couldn't be more pleased with the experience! The staff was incredibly accommodating, ensuring that all of our dietary requirements were met—from gluten-free to vegetarian and everything in between. Everyone had a fantastic time, and the food was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was vibrant and welcoming, making for the perfect setting to celebrate. Huge thanks to the team for going above and beyond to make sure every guest had an enjoyable and personalized experience. Highly recommend Maya for any group gatherings or special occasions!
We threw caution to the wind and wandered down to Italia Lane. And what a fantastic experience! Our host made sure we were warm and cozy outside while we waited for a table sans reservation. Once comfortably seated, we were all drawn into a rowdy and heartfelt rendition of happy birthday for a fellow patron. The food was al denta to perfection, and no complaints from my fussy and gluten intolerant eater, who declared the wood-fired gluten free margarita with a special side of anchovies to be the best he’s ever tasted. We will definitely be going again!
Sexiest vegetables of my life. The space, service and food are sublime. Very accommodating of gluten free dietary requirements. We had the best time. There should be an Agnes in every city.
Really nice food. Loads of gluten free options which was great. Would be cool if they had a lunch menu as you pay the same amount for lunch as if you had dinner there. Staff were friendly and the restaurant had a nice open vibe to it. Will be back for a dinner sometime.

Obsessed.
Bianca is hands down my fave spot in Brisbane. The vibe, the pasta - Chef’s kiss. The wine? Perfection!
To my gluten free friends, you certainly don’t miss out. 100% must visit 🫶🏼
The food is amazing, every dish was worth coming back for! Lots of gluten-free options. If you’re looking for a good wine, this is the place to be. We really enjoyed!
A really cute place situated in the valley. Heaps of options for gluten free.
Food is generally amazing.
10/10 recommend the baked scallops
The arancini was a little too hard and dry
7/10 recommend the burrata (def add the prosciutto)
Lamb pappardelle was AMAZING although don't expect huge chunks of lamb, instead small bits are stirred through the pasta.
The steak was beautiful! We asked for rare and got a bit more of a blue steak, but that might be due to the thickness of the steak.
Pizza was the uncontested loser here. Very disappointing and almost a little bland. 3/10
Drinks were alright. Cocktails were good although the menu seems to have changed from what's available online. Which is a shame.
Only thing is, despite making a reservation and arriving early, we were told to wait and then forgotten.
We waited 40 minutes for our mains, so don't eat here if you're in a rush. However, staff did apologise for the delays and explained that kitchen had some delays. Staff were generally friendly but they did seem very overworked the day we went.
Overall, 7/10
We had a sensational celebration dinner in the private dining room at Rosmarino. The food was incredibly tasty, and beautifully presented and the set menu had so much variety. They kindly catered with ease for 1 gluten free diner. The service was delightfully friendly, professional and attentive. Rosmarino made our celebration a very special night to remember. Thank you all so much. We would highly recommend dining here.
We had a delicious meal at Short Grain last night. The food was excellent, particularly the whole fish, stir fried veggies and the fried rice. Sensational flavours. We loved our lemongrass martinis, beautifully chilled and not too sweet. The service we experienced was top notch and so helpful. We would definitely recommend Short Grain for lovers of unique and well paired Asian flavours. It was super easy to be a gluten free diner as well as most of the dishes fell into that category. The only suggestion we would make would be to perhaps space the tables a little bit more and maybe a bit more mood lighting (though we were eating early, so perhaps that was the distraction). Don’t let these suggestions deter you though from a visit, the food and service is so worth it.

As a person who doesn't consume dairy, I highly recommend checking this place out because their sorbet is amazing. Their cones are also dairy free (not gluten free). My personal favourite is the pandan and coconut sorbet on a cone. So creamy but 100% vegan! The chocolate sorbet is also delicious. The perfect amount of richness.

Can confirm the chicken 🐔 laksa with additional tofu from this place was delicious 😋 I love me a laksa, and this place served! Great value for money and gluten-free options available. My go-to place in Brissy for a laksa with the coin 🪙 👌

I have been here multiple times and the food, service, ambience and drinks are beyond exceptional every time. The food is not only excellent but mine and my partners gluten-free needs are completely catered for and I have not yet had an experience of being glutened via cross-contamination or being given the wrong dish. The staff are very perceptive and assertive, doing things such as asking to hang up my jacket when I remove it, offering expert advice when asked for a wine pairing, making a custom cocktail to suit my partners taste… I could go on. Please, never change.
Love coming here. Service great with attention to detail. I have to have gluten free and the staff were on it with great options even special made gluten free pancake (delicious) instead of the bread. My favourite is their signature raw tartare with beetroot. It’s soooo good that I could have it for dessert. Great wine and the staff knew exactly what I wanted. Menu is great. Caters for all tastes. Looking forward to next time…

We found a hidden gem when we found Reverend’s coffee cafe. We were a challenging group with gluten-free, vegan and meat eaters in our mix. This wonderful guy (pictured) took care of us and made some amazing dishes. Very kind, considerate and extremely un-Sydney, friendly service. Thanks for being so accommodating. We’ll be back

They have really good service, everyone is so so so nice!! The bar manager gave my partner and I a tour of the downstairs area which was so fascinating. They accommodate for coeliacs extremely well which is hard to come by. Also the drinks are amazing!! ☺️
Authentic Japanese cuisine with friendly service, izakaya style. iPad ordering system per table, with quite an extensive menu. The beef tataki was good with grated raw garlic as a garnish which packed a good punch, the pipi sakamuahi (steamed with sake) was also flavoursome with ponsu sauce, and sashimi ship all very fresh. The squid sashimi was also well prepared with the slices cut to the right width to match the thickness of each portion, which gives a pleasant mouthfeel and texture per bite. They also had the body/mouth of the squid served as sashimi with the tough parts removed, which I think I've never had before outside Japan. Very nice. Shishamo tempura was fried well, as was the cream croquettes and beef kushi katsu (katsu on a skewer). Even the dressing on the small accompanying salads was good and memorable. Grilled mackerel portion was generous and suitably fatty to be washed down with a beer. Kids had a curry which they also enjoyed. Standout for the evening was the deep fried flounder. It may not sound like much of a dish, but when correctly done the whole fish minus the head can be eaten. Here the fish was filleted and each piece cut into bite size pieces which was good, but the bones, fins and tail were deep fried in a single piece. The whole lot can be eaten with a unique taste and texture, again I've never seen this served up like this before around here. Desserts selection was also pretty good, and they didn't skimp on the ice-cream in the parfaits. They also had sakura dango, a glutenous rice cake thinly wrapping a sweet red bean paste, but with an outer layer of a salted leaf from a cherry blossom tree. Somewhat rare outside of Japan, it was a great mix of sweet and savoury flavours with the unmistakable sakura aroma. Highly recommended for an authentic dining experience. Definitely worth a repeat visit to try out the rest of their menu.
While they did have ability to make several dishes gluten free, or vegetarian/vegan. It was slim pickings if you’re both. The salad I had however was quite lovely. Though I would have had more cooked veg in it than raw. Some raw veg were cut in a way it was just awkward to eat, I’m grateful I wasn’t on a first date. 😂 Lovely staff & vibe for a special date night.
It’s a great traditional Italian restaurant!
They don’t have gluten free pasta or pizza however there are some gf options for mains (some are also dairy free)
The cutest little bakery in Brisbane. Everything made here is so gorgeous I could stare at their cabinet for days. Delicious coffee and gelato too. They even have lots of gluten free goodies so no one misses out. Open late - even better 😍😍😍😍
A fun and stylish Valley pub! The vibe is local business lunch and end of day drinks meets fun night out.
🥗 I love anchovies in my Cesar salad! And here they have real anchovies on Parmesan covered crispy cos with crunchy bacon morsels.
The burger is buttermilk chicken on a gluten free bun - and the gf bun is one of the good ones!
🚗 There’s a little bit of parking for sober bae’s like me.
We had an early dinner here. There were live crabs and lobsters and coral trout in tanks at the front.
We ordered gluten free sizzling prawns, San Choi bow, Mongolian beef and pork with plum sauce. And vegetarian spring rolls
Everybody enjoyed their food a great deal. The meat was really tender and my elderly dad asked for some pineapple at the end and they brought him a little cup of pineapple.
We'd go back there.
We went to the Valley store before a movie at the Palace. We questioned the waitress if the Crispy Burger was gluten free and she said it was. My husband is Coeliac. During movie my husband was feeling sick. We went back and questioned restaurant and they then said the burger bun was gluten free not the ingredients. How ridiculous!! We are very disappointed and would think twice about going to this place again. They didn’t even reply to my previous email!!
Such a great spot! They have the best coeliac friendly gluten free food. The venue has a great cosy atmosphere and the staff are super friendly!

Incredibly gorgeous restaurant with a wonderful bar and lovely staff. I was seated and served efficiently, there was a very impressive range of food options to select from. I absolutely love the way they season and cook their vegetables. The beef was so mouth watering and tender. The only thing I would love to see from this place is more gluten-free pasta options.

Many options of salad toppings and roll fillings, even combinations of them. The combination vermicelli salad is excellent value with grilled pork, spring rolls and sugarcane prawn topping. The vermicelli salads and rolls are a great option for people who can't have gluten

Outstanding family run restaurant which I’ve been coming back to for 33 years. The quality and consistency of the food is fantastic and the service is excellent. We are greeted like family every time and Jessica always remembers our favourite drinks and dishes. Head chef, DaShan, takes much pride in the quality of his food and service. My Mum is coeliac and they always cater to her needs with delicious, fresh, gluten free options. Their signature “Oyama Hand Roll” (pictured) is a must have - good luck stopping at just one!! Their Japanese special fried rice with pork belly is another must try. The teppanyaki bar is a lively and entertaining experience. The grilled Moreton Bay bugs or prawns in garlic butter and signature mustard sauce will leave you wanting to lick the bowl, they’re so good. I’ve lived in Japan, and I can honestly say that Oyama’s is the best Japanese restaurant I’ve found in Australia.
Not suitable for coeliacs. I went in after seeing a recent Instagram post saying their fries are in a seperate fryer and seeing reviews about GF options. When I went to order I was told that they put the fried chicken in the fryer too and they only have one toaster for all buns. Disappointing but glad they were honest at least.
A great hidden gem in the Valley. Great coffee, so good I had to order a second, friendly service and best of all happy to accommodate a coeliac gluten free, menu items. Highly recommend their Chilli Scamble.
