I told our waiter that I cannot have gluten as it will make me very sick. I told him five different ways since it was so important. Well, my food was not gluten free as I was sick after in a full gluten attack. It makes my stomach hurt so bad and I had to miss a day of work, which effects my income. I've decided to not dine out anymore because restraurants just don't care and don't take it serious and give the consideration necessary even when the menu says gluten free. Do not eat here if u can not have gluten, because u will regret it.

My boyfriend and I went to dinner at Sunda to celebrate two years together. It could not have been more perfect in any way. Our server Jay was extraordinary, he went out of his way to make it a special experience for us. Jay was also very knowledgeable about my severe gluten allergy, props to the kitchen as well because this is the first restaurant I have gone to in over a year where I didn’t leave feeling sick. The food was on par with the amazing service, the crispy rice was delicious and so was the cod. ( I will say the miso cod was a good amount better than nobu nyc). The food all came out hot as well. My boyfriend and I have struggled to find good service anywhere we go because we are in our very early twenties and look very young, everyone automatically assumes we will be poor costumers and treats us horribly. This was not the case whatsoever, our server Jay could not have been more attentive!!!!!
