A cool healthy establishment with no pretense. I enjoyed the salmon bowl and a vegan chocolate chip cookie. The menu is loaded with vegan and gluten free options. Dining is outside only but it is enclosed with a roof.

Despite the small size of the location, this place is impressive! The background music is mellow, the seating arrangement is inviting, and the menu offers a unique selection of vegan, gluten-free, and original sushi. I tried the Yellowtail with green onion, The Twin Salmon Roll, and the Missing Piece, and everything was fresh, perfectly prepared, and delicious! I can't wait to come back, most likely with some friends. The chef and server were also very helpful and I appreciate their assistance.

If you are driving highway 1 and want a great taste of local California wine, beers, or seafood, this is a great option. The delicious gastropub quality food is worth the price because the flavors are amazing. There are many vegan and gluten free options on the menu. There is also a comfortable and warm dining area with outdoor seating as well.

Quickly becoming my favorite sushi joint. My wife is gluten intolerant and Akira has plenty of options for her/ us... Service is always great and the food is delicious.
