To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to bring to your attention a serious issue regarding a recent order I placed for delivery from your restaurant. I have celiac disease and specifically marked all my food items as gluten-free when ordering. Unfortunately, I was gluttened by the sauce accompanying the spring rolls, and I am now concerned about the pho as well. Although I didn’t consume all of it, I discarded the rest of my meal, fearing that it would make me ill. I want to emphasize how important it is for your staff to be fully educated on handling gluten-free orders, as this is a significant health risk for individuals with celiac disease. The woman I spoke with on the phone was kind, empathetic, and reassured me that she would confirm the details, but this situation should not have occurred. While I understand that mistakes can happen, this incident is a matter of negligence, and your restaurant could be liable if others are affected in the same way. I appreciate that DoorDash refunded me for the meal, but should I require medical treatment, I will need to send you the bill. I urge you to take this matter seriously and ensure that all your cooks and servers are properly educated on food allergies and autoimmune conditions. Thank you for your attention to this issue. Incredible! Best Chinese food I’ve had by far and without MSG or gluten — simply heavenly. Probably the only restaurant I could go to every night of the week and be so happy and satisfied. Tons of incredible options.
