Our server, Grace, went above and beyond when we told her of our son’s celiac disease. She even brought his food out as soon as it was ready to limit the chances of being cross contaminated! My son said it was the best chicken sandwich he has had, and Red Robin’s gluten free buns are the best. Also while we were dining, there was a table causing problems. The staff were fantastic and handled the situation extremely well.

My wife and I went to The Mill to celebrate her birthday. As we were seated she was given a birthday card signed by the staff which was a very nice touch. My wife is also celiac and our server was very knowledgeable and made sure what she ordered was gluten free. Every dish we had was delicious, especially the key lime pie and creme brulee we had for dessert.

I have been here a few times. I have Celiacs Disease. They are nothing but accommodating. The waitresses are always knowledgeable or they don't hesitate to go ask questions. Our last waitress even googled information for me. The food is always amazing. I normally order breakfast food no matter the time of day. I highly recommend.

An allergy conscious and allergy friendly option, with lots of food options for most. For a member of our party with a gluten allergy, the server, manager, and chef all signed an allergy ticket, and cooked the items in the oven instead of on the grill to prevent cross contamination. I only wish there were a few more vegetarian options on the menu. I'd highly recommend the parmesan fries and the tomato bisque (the grilled cheese fritters in it were delicious) both were very tasty!

What a difference a year makes! My husband and I don't eat out very often as we both have food allergies. I am Celiac, and need to be dairy free as I am allergic to the protein in dairy products. My husband is allergic to onions and garlic. Last year we had a wonderful experience at What if. The waitstaff were very attentive to our dietary restrictions as well as the chef, who made sure we ate safely. Not so much this year. We told our waitress of our dietary needs, I repeated them three times during our order and she said she was writing them down. When served, I ordered filet mignon with lumpcrab, not a cheap meal, the crab was in a cheese sauce. I questioned the sauce and she confirmed that it was a cheese sauce. I reminded her that I was allergic to dairy. She looked at me with "the deer in the headlights" look. She took the meal back and then the manager came over and asked if they could just scrap the sauce off. Really????? Was she not understanding of food allegies? And is that an appropriate response from a high-end restaurant? I think not. I reminded her of my food allergies, which are not a lifestyle choice. I waited 20 more minutes for my meal as the others at the table ate. My meal came back with an over done steak and very soggy vegetables. As everyone was done at the table and I was hungry, I ate the meal. I should have sent it back but wasn't willing to wait another 20 minutes. My question to them...did they just rinse the filet mignon off and recook it since it was over done?!???
