Too good and warm welcome. Plus this restaurant has a large gluten-free menu which is rare. We can enjoy it as a family with my sister who is gluten intolerant.
Had an absolutely delicious 3-course meal at this wonderful diner in Paderborn. My husband and daughter are coeliacs, but there was a huge selection of gluten-free options and everything cooked separately from the non-gluten free dishes.
The diner was modern and comfortable, with really cool decorations and great background music. The service was phenomenal, with friendly helpful staff, who looked after us perfectly. Will definitely be going back on our next trip to Paderborn.
My wife has celiac disease and therefore wanted a gluten-free burger. Gluten-free burger buns are available, but according to the waiter, only the turkey breast is gluten-free; all other burger options are not. The offer is therefore somewhat pointless.
As an alternative, she could have a baked potato with salad. Both were tasty.
I had the vegan Green Hero Burger. The patty and sauce were good, but the bun was dry and the fries were floury.
We found the service somewhat unpleasant. The waiter was noticeably overwhelmed by our questions and had little inhibition about clearly showing his bad mood.
It would be nice if the Roadhouse trained its employees and raised their awareness in this regard. People with intolerances don't ask their questions about allergens for fun or to annoy the staff, but because they have to.
Great place, especially with children. There is a small children's play area for toddlers. This has 3 tables for families to eat.
There are also gluten-free dishes, e.g. the corn tortillas. They also made the burgers gluten-free for me without the burger bun. My husband had the spare ribs and my son had a mix of noodles and hot dogs. The food was excellent. Our service staff was super friendly. And we generally found the staff to be thoughtful and flexible. Thanks.
