GF waffle was meh. I have celiac so I am judging in comparison to GF foods purely. The cheese had a crust on it like it was American cheese that had been overcooked and the peppers were cooked somehow such that the skin was still super tough but the meat was mush. The service was also quite slow. The savory choice didn't work out. I do not appear to have been glutened however, so a star is earned back for that.

Shout out to Bryan, who always takes care of us when we come into Mission BBQ. He knows my daughter’s allergies and makes the best gluten-free fries for her. The Charlottesville Mission BBQ is like a going home to a kitchen that cares for their family. We enjoyed a great meal on the patio. Food is ready super fast and is so fresh and good. Easily customize for food allergies including dairy and gluten free. The brisket is amazing… we’ll be back!
