I’ve heard such amazing things about this place so I was really excited to try it. I ordered my food on Uber eats so that may have made the difference with dine out. The pizza was OK, I didn’t love the cheese and there wasn’t a lot of sauce. However, the bread was great especially gluten-free. The fries were a little bit cold so that might be why they weren’t so good but I wasn’t in love. And the mac & cheese was OK. It was probably the best thing out of all three items that I tried. I just wish it had more cheese. I would definitely try it again, but would try different items or in person this time.
Needed a wedding cake for a small group that was vegan & gluten free. It being nut free was an added bonus as we did have a friend with said allergy that I was just going to buy regular cupcakes for. We got the small brownie cake with coffee frosting. It’s a very rich cake and we had plenty of leftovers. It was so cute and the perfect size for our small group.
I always try and remember HUGOS is ONLY good for the Churros.
Yes you can get vegan, vegetarian and gluten free there but after today I really don't think it's worth it. Service isn't great and food is bland, no flavor, lack of salsa and when I asked for salsa for 3 tiny burritos with very little meat, I get 1 small half full tiny cup. After tip , i spent $84 on 3 burritos, 2 drinks and 3 churros. Seems pretty steep for bland food and half way decent service. From now on the amazing GF Churros will be our only purchase
What a hidden gem. Tucked inside a pharmacy, it’s easy to miss but absolutely worth the hunt. Everything is completely vegan and gluten free, and you would never even guess. I can't begin to describe how delicious everything is here. The hibiscus donut, the churro donut, the brownie, the cream filled donut hut—every single item is incredible. This is a woman owned small business and truly something special. The prices are more than fair. Do yourself a favor and check it out. You’ll want to keep going back.
Amazing breakfast sandwich, I couldn't believe it was gluten free! As a person with celiac disease, I was stoked to find this place. It's awesome, I highly recommend and look forward to coming back
Got the grand slam. Never would have guessed the pancakes were both vegan and gluten free. Everything was delicious. The sausage and eggs are definitely vegan, but taste great. Service was excellent, excited to try other things.

Delicious ramen! The gluten free noodles were the best, and the broth can be made gluten free as well. Celiac friendly, didn't have a reaction! Try with the cheese, it's a surprising addition, and it comes on the side so you can adjust to your taste. A bit pricey, especially for the additional ingredients and GF noodles. I didn't like the impersonal ordering via a screen instead of with a waiter, but I guess I get it from the restaurant's perspective...
Such a wide range of flavors from vegan options, to so many different versions of chocolate and classics this is a for sure recommend! They have a virgin mojito and passion fruit flavour that are both vegan and so delicious on a hot day. I love that this place is also all gluten free so no need to worry about cross contamination.
Among the best of the current crop of taco distilleries in Los Angeles. The friendly Staff have figured out the queueing system and the result is lower waiting times. The tacos are fantastic. Tacos are all corn so ideal for gluten free types. Don’t forget the hibiscus onions and a cucumber cooler. Dine in options are limited to a few outdoor tables. Prices are reasonable although not displayed on menu.
As someone with celiac, this is an absolute gem. Not only can I have everything on the menu, but it’s delicious and my non-celiac friends/family love it too!
A wonderful place for some of the best-tasting food. My soup was homemade-like, the tuna salad sandwich was tasty and heated. The avocado toast was the best I've ever had. And the chocolate cake—just order a slice. Yes, it's all gluten-free, but don't pass it up if you're not on a GF diet, as it's a healthy alternative to most places.
Server natalie j was a gem! She was very careful with my Celiac disease. The food was great, the short rib was a little over done, however, the beverages were superb, and I had a great time overall!
My favorite Thai place on the Westside with the sweetest servers. Hard to find healthy options for Thai food that meets dietary needs but this place offers gluten free, seed oil safe options. Any time I'm in Westwood, Emporium Thai is my go-to!
The food is delicious, and place itself is awesome, they have board games that we can play while waiting for the food, and they also have gluten free food.
Cute little place with an extensive gluten-free menu and knowledgeable staff. I appreciate it all the options that I had and that the waiter could answer any questions. Believe me it can be harder than it sounds to have both so I really appreciated the experience. Nate recommended the salmon curry, and it was fantastic.
Honestly so so bad. Do not go here unless you want to walk out feeling terrible in every way. For the longest time this was on the very top of my list of places i needed to try. I was so excited. I have a number of allergies and the menu seems amazing.
However the food is really really not good, not even considering the cost. More than that, i finished it feeling more bloated and nasty than i have in a long time. So for all of the things they say they are, it seems like there’s something they use in their cooking that is not good. So not safe for those with sensitive guts. I got the rad thai, their take on pad thai and it was mushy and bad and almost tasteless. It came with a side of tasteless greens and tasteless and dry quinoa all for 31$. They used thin clear noodles instead of a flat noodle. Pad thai in and of itself is gluten free besides the soy sauce so it’s not hard to make a healthier version. Next time I know to make it at home because my god did they mess this one up. Just mush, no texture, no flavor, and 4 pieces of the tiniest broccoli mixed in and maybe 15 strands of carrot. $31.
On top of that the cashier was unbelievably rude and short with me totally uncalled for. And also just… weird? She took my order and then later when it came out even though i was the only other person in the restaurant she half-yelled out “rad thai” “rad thai” a number of times in a really irritated voice. The whole time i was standing pretty much right in fromt of her and there wasnt anyone else and she was yelling out into the distance in an irritated voice. Like girl wth 😂. It was 7pm too it wasnt even late. Also while i was waiting for my order i asked about the ice cream and she was texting the whole time and pretended not to hear me the first time. And then was like so irritated rolled her eyes at me and like mumbled ill get to you get out of the way there are other customers here. There were no other customers. Tho some customers came in 2 minutes later, i guess she was pre-empting the future lmao. She was acting like this with me the moment i walked in.
The ambiance is bad too. It is not comfortable at all to sit and dine in. That might be on purpose. I guess they dont want you there.
So if you want to feel like garbage both in your head and in your stomach this is the place for you. Would give 1 star but 2 for what they represent. Glad there’s a vegan and supposedly healthy restaurant here but that’s all they can get credit for because you dont leave it feeling healthy.
Wurstkuche is one of the restaurants I’d recommend to anyone visiting LA. I’ve been going here for years now and have always had the most amazing experiences. They accommodate my gluten allergy so well here, simply making my sausage without a bun and also wrapped in foil so no cross contamination occurs. I love the kielbasa and have yet to try anything too out there, but they have some very interesting and exotic sausages such as the rattlesnake & rabbit one! Not sure if I’ll ever be adventurous enough to try that one!
There tends to be a line every time I go, but there’s always enough room to sit, as they have a large front patio and plenty of seats indoors that’s free seating. I love how there are crayons and you can color on the tables! Parking is pretty terrible as this is a busy area in the Arts District, so I’d recommend ubering if possible, although I did get lucky and find parking right away this time around!
Definitely check this place out as they are super accommodating, the atmosphere is great and the food is delicious!

Our server for the night was Duanny, and let me just say, I hope all who go here get to have him. He was such a delight, answered all the questions I had about the vegan/gluten friendly options, and did so cheerfully! Such great food and atmosphere here as well!!
One of the best spots for catering in LA! We’ve ordered 3 times now for team lunches and it’s consistently good, always a hit with our employees and clients. Ingredients are fresh and the portions are filling. Great options for vegan and gluten-free. Highly recommend!
I am celiac and got takeout from here because the entire menu is apparently gluten free, but I got sick (definitely gluten sick). Beware for anyone who is GF for medical reasons.
