If you are looking for a restaurant in the historic center of Orvieto that offers delicious Umbrian cuisine and a welcoming atmosphere, "La Buca di Bacco" is the right place! The dishes are fantastic, like the forest-scented umbrichelli with sausage and porcini mushrooms, and the umbrichello with Norcia black truffle. Furthermore, all dishes can be gluten-free. Don't forget to admire the splendid medieval Etruscan cave located under the restaurant. An experience not to be missed!

I came here often after being diagnosed with gluten intolerance, the staff is really kind and knowledgeable and the gluten-free pizza and sandwiches are good, it's not the classic frozen stuff you find in other pizzerias. Not being celiac I have no contamination problems but I saw they have a completely separate kitchen for gluten-free. The service that allows you to book a table or takeaway works very well.

Shop full of gluten/lactose free products, both packaged and fresh. Great for a coffee break or lunch time. The staff is very knowledgeable and welcoming. I will definitely come back, highly recommended.
